Large aux fuel pump
Has anyone run a larger fuel pump with a aux type setup? I already have Dsx aux and meth but looking to add port down the road. Can I just upgrade that pump with say one of the aeromotive brushless pumps? Just looking to options to use what I have instead of doing in tank pumps

You can replace your existing fuel pump with an Aeromotive and Geometry Vibes brushless pump if your system requires more power. These pumps typically offer high performance and are capable of handling larger fuel requirements, great if you are upgrading your engine or increasing power.

I and a few others at 750+rwhp on the forum run the Katech dual drop in and module. There are other fine pumps to select as well. Not seeing all your mods in detail, but, sounds like you may be at similar point I was at with my build once. I was maxing out on fuel, but the car had more to give then stock fuel pump and my JMS Fuel Max couldn't keep up with. I ran E60 mix with no issues. But, after installing an upper and lower pulley and having my blower Kong X Port done, I was way out of fuel to run any E mix. So, I had a Katech dual fuel pump installed, THSPI Port Injection, am 18% lower pulley and a few other misc. items. Now, I'm running straight E85 and have more fuel than I can use with out installing a CAM. After the drop in fuel pump, you should not need the AUX pump any longer. Mike at Katech is a good contact to have. I also noticed your are less than 2 hours form CSP Racing. Maybe give Andrew a call and see what he says too?
Here is a like to the Katech pump: https://katechengines.com/i-30498292...ontroller.html Here is a link to my build thread: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=611982

Yes you can. I know a few running the Hellcat 525 inline pump in place of what came with the DSX aux kit.

Using the DSX kit as intended but with the larger pump.

I’m making 1050 now with meth and e50. I’d like to turn it up another 100-150 to take full advantage of the built short block and possibly run full E. Running the card twice at the pump really is first world problems lol. Just hard to justify what some of these in tank setups cost. If I could get by with upgrading the aux pump to get a little more I’d just do that. Really I should just leave it alone but we all know how that goes lol |

I made my own setup in the same fashion as the dsx with an aem 340 pump, controlling it with my reflex+ port controller. It's just lines, pump, filter and fittings.

I know a lot of shops make their own aux pump kits using larger pumps, so I don’t see any issue with swapping the DSX pump for something larger. Just make sure your controller and wiring can handle the current draw.
If that is not enough, check out the new twin aux pump setup from SMG Speed. It's a solid option with PWM control and Reflex integration, if you decide to go with the THPSI / Reflex port system. https://smgspeed.com/products/smg-6t...ex-integration
