Anyone know where I could find a replacement fifty door still, My driver side no longer illuminates and Gm doesn't sell the part.

What was done takes too long to long to list, but I'll drop my ad below in case you are interested.

I picked a price that "seemed" reasonable fr the mileage and my desire to let her go. The young fellow that bought it left with a huge grin.

She sold in 24 hours - with about a dozen people seriously interested in coming to see it - promising cash in hand and a trailer.

This particular thread, while very quiet now ( understandably ) has been one of th e most civilized, adult, helpful and pleasant forum pages I have been involved with. I am in a lottttt of various forums.

Thank you all

2017 50th Anniversary Edition Camaro 2SS
1 of 151 Imported into Canada
Asking $19,999.99.
This car has been cared for with many new factory parts and some top quality aftermarket performance parts and service - from a leading shop in Ontario - CC Performance.
Barely driven over the last 2.5 years so now it is time to let someone else experience the thrill.
It has all of the standard 2SS features: Heads Up Display, Bose Stereo, Leather everything with 50th Orange stitching, heated and ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, illuminated sill plates, sunroof, and so much more.
A little louder and a little faster than many, but as tame as a kitten in traffic.
Starting with:
2" Kooks Long Tube Headers - ceramic coated
BTR Stage 1 Cam with DoD Deleted
Morel Lifters
Pistons (OEM)
Roto-Fab Cold Air Intake
J&L Oil Catch Can
Tuned by CC Performance with a mild tune making about 490 RWHP. It could be tuned for more.
PPF on the front end and quarter panels kept the paint in good shape.
In the last two years - many new parts to make it as close to new as possible.
Motor was apart and refreshed to last another lifetime.
Battery (OEM)
Starter (OEM)
8 Fuel Injectors (OEM)
4 rotors and all pads (Stoptech Drilled/Slotted)
4 Michelin PS4S
All 4 Magride Struts (OEM)
All Coolant Hoses (OEM)
Serpentine Belt (OEM)
All engine wire harnesses (OEM)
Engine Bay Fuse Block (OEM)
Short Block (OEM)
Oil Pump
The odometer reads 353,000 KM but with all the work done on the engine and the new parts, $19,999.99 is a steal. I will continue to drive it every weekend for a few hours, so the odometer will keep climbing.

Saw your post over on the book of face. For whatever reason I’m not getting the emails or push notifications for this forum or thread anymore. Oh well. Gotta check it more often I guess. And yes it gotten quieter around here. And like you said understandably.

Still sad to see yours go but you did some amazing things with yours. Congrats on the journey. Glad you were a part of this era in Camaro history and hope the next ride gets you as many miles.

Hit up Wildhammer Motorsports. He’s independent but got connections for GM parts.

From 2016 until about 2022-23 it was consistently one of the top 3 active threads on the board.

And CONGRATS on getting one of the sweetest Camaros ever made. I might be a tad bit biased when I say that.

Heck yeah, THANK YOU!! I can see why you’re biased and I am now too!
How do I post some pics? I got a jem. One owner, only had 12,300 miles on it and it looks and smells like it just came off the dealership floor. I am beyond thrilled!

One thing I have definitely noticed was how much brake dust these Brembo brake pads leave. Makes cleaning the wheels so much more often. Is the general consensus to swap them out with the Power Stop extreme Z26 ceramic pads?

There is no "general consensus". If you want maximum braking power, you use the stock Ferodo pads, if you're bothered by brake dust more than you care for braking effectiveness, you switch to Z26s for the street. This is a subjective personal call with every owner.

For owners who aren't going to track their cars or do aggressive/spirited driving, and care more about keeping the wheels pretty and are willing to give up a bit of stopping power: yes.

When showing the car, it's nice not to have to spend 20 minutes turning the brake-dust-matte wheels back to gloss after driving 20 miles to the show. The Z26 pads work fine for normal street driving and dust is negligible.
