First off; I am in love with this build and your threads. You are so detailed and neat and I love it. Goals. I’m excited to see what all you do with this car.

I saw this somewhere and I forget where, and apologies if this was already mentioned; how the hell can you run 345s in the rear? Lol

I know the wiring harness has to be relocated for anything more than a 305 really, but that seems HUGE for the back.
Did you have to do anything special? Or can you just throw them back there and they’re good?
I currently have 305s in the rear on my non-1le 2ss, would i be able to run one that large out back? I probably would never need to (once i boost it, i would run a stickier tire and likely a 17” rim). I am mainly asking for curiosity and learning sake.

J/K... in terested also. Not going for max effort, just wanted to test out some new parts. I assume I'll pick up another 60rwhp +/-... time will tell! This phase is going to be fun - no doubt!

Thank you for the kind words. Perhaps clearance is better on the ZLE's ??? Yes, been running 345/30/19's for a few years with no issues.

Dang-it, and I was thinking my power mods were over !!! HEHEHE

I think you are spot on with 60rwhp. When I was looking at additional power modes, CAM, Heads, DI etc... The cost was higher and only adding an estimated 60rwhp. So it will be interesting to see the new number when you are done ! Keep up the awesome work bro !!!

You will LOVE IT!!! That blower will whine louder than I did when I totaled up all the costs of the mods I've done to my car since buying it new back in Dec 2022 !!!

Now here is the million dollar question, is an X port or a full tilt port job super whiney with a stock lid or is it worth using an aftermarket lid on it?

I can tell you from just the standard Katech Port... putting the stock LID back on to data log, vs. my new DMS Lid, the noise was 50% less, with the OEM lid. The thinner billet lids help wonders is allowing that beautful supercharger whine to resonate!
