First oil change under my ownership. The filter was spun by the hand of God and I then learned that no commonly sold filter wrench will fit the PF64. The 3-jaw adjustable wrench I found at Autozone was my last resort and worked really well.

I spent a silly amount getting my wheels and calipers ceramic coated and it was worth every dime. Spray the calipers, wipe wet, wipe dry in about 2 minutes. Do this if you haven’t, for what little it would cost to DIY.

Completed the Alcantara transformation by changing the top pads of the doors from vinyl to suede from a pair of donor ZL1 door panels. This mod wasn't cheap and required some work, but was worth the effort IMO. Looks factory! I wanted to change the arm rest too but it's molded as part of the panel behind it. I wanted to keep the red on the door so I had to keep the red arm rest.

ps: I have a pair of ZL1 door panels available, with knee pads, if anyone is interested. I'll attach my old vinyl top pads to them for any buyers.

I always wipe dry my wheels whatever drying aid I used for the rest of the car, typically P&S Beadmaker, though I've been using Jescar Ceramic lately and it lasts longer. -Anyhow....similar to what you're describing, clean up is quite easy!!!! Good idea on the calipers though, I'll have to try that once I swap to the red ones I have sitting in on a shelf in my garage!!!

That looks excellent!!!! I like the look of changine the knee bolsters on the console and door, but whatever color, red, tan, blue, black alcantara, whichever you choose, but always felt the tops of the doors should be changed too. The dash I don't mind black, but the those door toppers should match. Are they designed to be changeable, or did you have to do some "custom work!?

Did the yearly oil change today, with much help from my 12-years old.

Great opportunity to spending some time with the kids and get them away from the computer.

Surprisingly, they are plastic welded to the door panel frame and have no part number to buy new separately. I had to source a couple salvaged door panels from eBay for the parts, grind off the welds, pry them out and then reinstall and secure to my door panels. It wasn't super difficult but was a bit time consuming and tedious... and cost me $400. I'm pretty sure I might be the only person to do this as I've never seen it out there anywhere.

There's a video online on how to do this. Timestamp important if you don't want to watch how all the other bits are removed.

Edit: the embedded video doesn't start at the timestamp for me so it's 3:41 for anyone interested.

I have never heard any explanation for this bizarre makework method they used to mount one piece of plastic to another. Was it just to keep more workers busy on the line?

Dropped it off for clear bra installation and ceramic window tinting. Will be having sixth gen withdrawals until the 3LT is back in my garage!

Shhhh... I have in my garage perhaps the last set of dangerous non-copper-free brake pads delivered to CA on a sixth gen before the emergency embargo went into effect. (The pads are in the garage because I eventually swapped them out for the lower-dust Powerstop Z26 pads.)

Haven't ever been to Willow Springs, being in the northern part of the state, but Laguna Seca is in my general region!

My '16, also hyper blue seems to have the same options, sunroof too, but it's a manual. Just rolled 28k miles. How many did you have because $32 ain't a bad price for a '16. I prefer the early cars, but I know they don't bring as much.
