does anyone know what this is?
i just bought a new to me 2021 ZLE and i dont know what this is? i think its aftermarket cuz my 2019 ZLE didnt have one idt?
when i pushed the button the fuel pump kicked on for about 5 seconds, so im thinking its a fuel pump relay?? |

i dont think it is a kill switch cuz the fuel pump started not stopped?

Looks like some aftermarket security device. Most likely not a voltage booster, those look different and are much larger with beefy cooling fins.

here's a couple more pics, when i push the middle button the fuel pump kicks on and the blue light comes on and it stops when the fuel pump reaches full pressure, is what it sounds like, i followed the wires to behind the dash near the obd2 port but im to big to get under there and see what it goes to. i do have a P3 gauge there also but i didnt see anything on their site that looks like it.

Fuel system priming circuit? You have aftermarket fuel pumps in the tank that maybe don't have a check valve in them so they bleed down if car sits there for awhile?

Looks like a low side pump controller for an Aux pump setup. Crawl under the car and check to see if the fuel tank has been tapped.

DSX and the green goo
Drill-n-tap through what is not more than 1 to 1-1/2 threads thick curved bit of fuel tank seems like a bad idea to me. Any flex at all and it'll try to open itself up. If that's DSX standard procedure (I saw the video with the green goo), then the green goo should be included in the DSX kit. Yep, there it is. Might be this one but there is no picture, so you might want to give them a call (314) 396-7333 to confirm as well as ask them for advice on how to address the leak (be it just with sealant, or if they have some other solution). |

thx for your help and i will call DSX, i don't see the relay that started this post on their website? maybe its an old design or someone added to the system?
