Air dams

Hi everyone, looking for some insight on air dams under the zle. I bought mine used, one owner before me. turns out he removed all air dams under the car except center one which at this point been scraped so much it looks like shit and I want to remove it. Do you really need them?

Thank for reading my rant.

Yes you want them. They were put there to direct airflow.

If you want to reduce the lift of the front axle, then you would want them.

Also the front one is called "DEFLECTOR,FRONT BUMPER FASCIA CENTER AIR" if you are going to order it

The air deflectors under the car are designed to route air through the heat exchangers. He isn't talking about the body aero such as the Canards.

I removed a lot of stuff, but those are still in place. I even considered swapping the front splitter, but that requires some bodywork.

After 20k miles mine is completely worn off.

unless you are trackign the car you wont notice it being missing.
I dont think they were shipped with them installed, it wouldnt surprise me if it werent installed on alot of the cars.

Derp, I totally forgot about the ones that are on each side of the front tires. I removed them after I bought my car because they were ugly. Yeah, those are optional.
