P228D code, fuel pressure too high

I was wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem. I had this code come up one time before. I was at the track last night and had my car go into reduced power mode because of this. I have a 38% fuel lobe and a Lt4 hpfp, I used a lash cap. Is there something that needs to be changed in the tune?

After doing some looking on HP tuners forum I'm thinking I'm seeing fuel pressure spikes form the bigger cam lobe and Lt4 hpfp upgrade. ??

I had this issue a couple years ago. Believe it was a tune related issue and my tuner had to make adjustments to get it functioning correctly.

Yes I'm pretty sure it is. Looks like there is some parameters that need to be adjusted for the bigger fuel lobe. I found some info on the HP tuners forum. Hard to find info on fuel pressure because every search comes up with low pressure. I'm still learning the Lt platform.
Thanks

Your leading edge angle table scale needs multiplied by percentage of the fuel lobe. So if it's a 38% lobe, you need to click on the axis, highlight, and multiply by 1.38.

Thanks King! That's what I was reading about. Still learning this Lt platform. I'm going to do that and put it back on the Dyno and check everything out soon.
Thanks for everyone's input. I did run 7.31 on my 20s the other night when it threw the code and went to reduced power. I didn't run anymore since I didn't have my laptop with me . I won't leave it at home again. Fastest I've been is 7.29 on my drag pack so wish I'd had those on.

I had this exact issue pop up this past weekend at COTA, avoided it by short shifting and staying away from red line.

@zracer, Did a tune fix the issue? Were you able to log the fuel pressure prior to tuning and see the spikes? I have an appointment with my tuner in a month, hopefully it's a similar fix to what King stated and a simple fix.

I have been too busy with other's cars, for now my car has been on the back burner. After the research I've done and then King confirming what I've read the tune changes will be the fix I'm certain. He's sharp on this Lt platform and I'm still learning. I will post an update when I get back to mine.

Gotcha, my appointment is mid July, after reading up on it I do think it's tune related like you and King have said. We'll see soon.

I plan on putting mine back on the Dyno soon to make some changes along with those corrections.
