MRT Exhaust

Anyone have the version 2 or 3 with any thoughts? I’m looking into getting one.

I had it on my old camaro, i enjoyed it. Their H pipe system is definitely different over the x pipe! I didn't have the V2 but I had the V3 and it was loud for sure.

Nobody around me has the H to compare with. What’s good or bad about the H pipe? Thanks for your response.

H pipe has a more old school sound, and doesn't rasp everywhere an X pipe typically does. H is typically a little louder. I really like the sound of the H pipe over the X pipe, considering this route myself when I replace my OE piping.

Performance-wise, H pipes favor the lower power band. X pipes favor the higher power band. Not sure at what point one performance aspect becomes more advantageous than the other, as those differences on OE equipped vehicles are going to be negligible. It's simply a sound preference. What's important for a mid pipe, is that it's able to balance the exhaust pressure between each bank evenly. I would say for a car that sees a lot of track time, an X pipe would be the better choice since the engine is going to stay in the higher powerband for extended periods. The H would make sense for a street car/commuter, since it will live in the lower powerband most of the time.

I have been interested in an H pipe for that nascar sound.. Does anyone on here have/had one? Like or dislike?
