Magnaride delete control module

I just deleted magnaride and installed DSSV's on my 2022 SS 1LE. I bought a suspension control module off of eBay (Part# 84214461) and it was not the right one. I read on this forum in a few different posts that this was the correct part number. It seems they are all the same part # but are just programmed differently. How do I know which module to buy if they are all the same part number? If anyone has one for sale that is the correct one, LMK.

Same situation for me. Currently it shows "service suspension" codes even tho I connected 100W3O resistors.
Theoretically the control module must be from a car which had no magnetic ride suspension.
The problem is, pretty much all modules you can buy are from vehicles which had magnetic ride.

Yup, just need to find one from a car w/o magride.

I called a parts yard (Day's) and asked them for one, but you can also check ebay and either ask the seller (they probably have no clue) or check the VIN of the vehicle it came from, the VIN is often given in the listing.

If you have the correct non-magride module you no longer need to use resistors. just coil up the electrical leads and zip tie them down somewhere.

What are you looking for in the vin to know it is the correct one?

If it’s a 2020+ car, you can get the window sticker from the VIN showing the options and determine if it has MRC there.

Update: my DIY solution works. One connector wasnt seated properly.
You can build your own if you got the tools or know someone.

Parts:
15 AWG wire
8x 1718760-1
4x 1-1703498-1
4x 100W 3 Ohm resistor
and maybe some shrimp tubes

In total it's like 15-20$

Run the vin using a vin lookup tool and it'll show options

I checked every single one with a vin listed on ebay that was 2020+. Nothing available right now.

That's too bad, I think '16+ should work. Maybe others, that module is likely the same as caddies and even trucks. It's the same part for all cars with the same modulem, then the dealer programs it for the specific car.

Anyone know if it is possible to reprogram the suspension module?

Do the non-magnaride cars still have or use the suspension position sensors?

I’m planning on switching to coilovers, but I have developed a custom AIM profile that monitors the suspension position sensors, and I’d like to keep that. Does anyone know if the non magnaride cars came with the position sensors? Maybe PTM on the ZLE still cared/monitored the position for the eLSD or something?

I'm pretty confident that those sensors are specific to mag ride shocks.

That’s my guess as well. What the heck does a non-mag-ride car need a suspension control module for though then?

I bought a module off eBay from a ZLE. Be sure to verify. Can't go by the part number.
