So, my logic, if the car doesn't get fuel (wink), they can't start it and drive it away. And if they can't drive it away, but grab it with a tow truck. They are going to get it anyway. I'm installing two locking bollards in my garage floor. One at the rear end of the car and one at the drivers door. So, if they try to steal it out of my garage, they will need to work hard to do so !

Question: how do you attach the bollard? I’m assuming
It’s bolted to the concrete floor ? |

Hydraulic or pneumatic bollards would be much more upscale and even more effective

So the bollard is anchored in the concrete floor, how does it attach
To vehicle?, or does it just prevent the vehicle from moving Forward or backwards? |

It doesn't attach to the car. It's a blocker, used to stop the car from being moved. I will have (2), (1) at the rear 3" from the bumper and (1) 4" from the drivers door. Once I get my interchiller installed, I'll work on the bollard project!

It's not as cool but I think a 4 post lift and a sturdy pad lock would be less expensive. And just as effective. |

I gather that these “Bollards” can only be installed
Either in one’s personal garage or driveway, seems Rather excessive and expensive to protect one’s assets But I guess, depending on where you live, unfortunately, It’s the sign of the times….PS IMPO…u steal a vehicle, And get caught,(that’s the hard part) immediate incarceration, Followed by judgement…minimum 10 years no parole! All 50 states! |

So wanted to circle back here and say that the IGLA has proved itself without a doubt. It has so far saved me from having my car stolen twice in the last few months out of my parking garage.
Granted had to have glass replaced and some body/paint work done, which sucks! But I still have my car to drive and enjoy!! ![]() It really adds no additional pain the use of the vehicle, maybe adds an extra second or 2. In addition I know for sure that i have the protection anywhere, whether at home, out and about, or at a mechanics/dealership (set to an easy temp code, and it's easy to have them understand how to use it and if stolen know someone gave up my code). Add in the anti hijack option and I would recommend getting an IGLA to anyone. |

I had my zl1 stolen recently. I replaced it with a z06 and did IGLA and Compustar/Drone. Recommend these anti-theft devices as well.
