Do I need a Tune IF

I tried to do a search for this question and had no luck.
2023 ZL1
Do I need a tune if I put on a cold air intake and axle back exhaust?
I know I don't need one if i do them individually, but together i am not sure.

If the CAI is a standard 4" intake tube (regular roto fab) No. If you go to a 5" (big gulp) then yes. Axle back no.

You NEVER need a tune on an axel back on any car.

personally... I felt CAI has made no changes.. maybe 1/2 hp with a tune and make your intake a bit louder

you need a good tune. but neither of those mods. the tune itself will be more beneficial.

I live in California a tune would be all bad for future chances of registering the car.

I had the GM axle back and GM cold air on my old 20 LT1 and it always ran like a top. Never an issues, changed the sound up, got rid of the crackles and pops a little but it’s okay because it was still a great sound. I don’t have the crackles and pops anyways on my current ZL1 as much as the LT1 so I rarely miss them.

You could even go full catback and still be smog compliant, save your cash from the intake and go exhaust. You won't get much out of a smaller rotofab anyways.....
