Not only are they not good for track days, they also eat rotors. A friend of mine had them on his car for a few thousand miles and there was already a substantial lip on the rotor. Stopping capability is reduced, it may still be "acceptable", but definitely reduced.

I will never understand buying a "track focused" version of a car and removing the parts that make it good on track. Why not buy a regular SS, wrap the hood and install the rear spoiler and lip and save yourself $6k.

It's certainly possible. I did bed them in according to their instructions. But it is a little tough to follow the instructions to the letter when you live in a residential area. I do have to drive about a mile out to the country to get away from traffic.

I put the big brake kit in mine. Dust is horrible with the pads from the kit.
what car would've come with these 6 pistons on the front. Rear will still take the same pads my SS came with, but when replacing front like to know what model and year to search for. Thanks.

Should be the same brake kit as the stock SS 1LE

Coat the rims and brake dust is a non issue, power washer takes it right off.
