I am getting bored also, close to pulling the trigger on an XPORT + Goliath + Dual Drop In + XDI 50+

I think this is an illness.

Sure is. Hey, if you do that build and I do the same, then we'd basically have a pretty solid comparison of an x-port vs a 2650 with pretty much the same mods otherwise. Would be cool to see the differences on both dragy and dyno. Strictly in the name of science, of course, not for any personal benefit.

I've noticed this habit on the FB forums where people post their dynos and times, but refuse to post mods (?)

Yeah, I don't get that... I thought everyone knew that a DYNO is only a tool... and the numbers don't matter much.

Looks to be a very stout build, excited to see the work! I've experienced the oil pump failure and am now in the process of having the motor out a second time to make it right. Would like to see the numbers on straight gas vs e85 when it's eventually all completed.

Those SI's are fun little daily drivers, had an 06 for a couple years when I first bought the ZL1. Good gas mileage, very reliable, and the thing redlined at 8k. Drive an 06 sti daily now and love the AWD, unfortunately I've spent more on it at this point then the ZL1 haha

Good luck on the build! Look forward to the results

Man, I really dislike FB car groups, for many reasons. Traditional forums like this are much better in my opinion. More people who actually KNOW things about their cars.

Thank you! Your engine removal video is awesome by the way. I'll be referring to it.

I'll see if I can get dyno numbers on it when I'm done. I'm thinking 800 or so on 93. Maybe I'll go to that dyno near me where Elvira goes. I'll probably have 1000rwhp easy on that one!

That's quite a build list! The pics work fine. VERY nice looking engine bay. Well done. I still think I'd get a second opinion on the driveability portion of the tune, personally. I've never heard of anyone needing a vacuum booster with a BTR stage 2.

high lift cams make it a little harder to brake its a fact....this will make it a little more like factory braking, I have good cold idle of about 750 and its just a fact its really pretty high lift at .639/.639 , stops fine, but fine is a Panther waiting to spring... LOL its a whole 40$ with a T to add boost to the line off the brake master booster as when its below 14 lbs ts giving it a little help..... You may find you would like one also. I am a a-10 and they say use a Converter.... Don't have one.......

RobZL1 - That sounds like great new mods and a build build! I'm sure one day, I'll crack this LT4 of mine openand go a similar route. Congrats on the new mods and you've done great on your build over the years! But, I can't Resist
