Big Black Exhaust Tips (4.5”) for NPP at Last

Finally went ahead and swapped the tips on the NPP exhaust after putting it off for so long. I was stalling because I was heavily considering the AWE but didn’t want to lose NPP functionality. I eventually came to the realization that I was more interested in the black 4.5” AWE tips than the sound. After about 10k miles, the small raspiness of the NPP has toned down a lot so I honestly don’t have any complaints about the sound. Loudness is fine with me too.

Then started my search for 4.5” black tips that would fit. I have to admit, this was a bit difficult to find. I looked everywhere. Eventually found what I was looking for on AliExpress. Took about 3 weeks to receive them. They arrived in perfect condition with no damage. Size you need is 63MM in, 114MM out. This works out to roughly 2.5” inlet and 4.5” outlet as you can see in the pictures. Quality seems really good but time will tell. I have included a link to the one I purchased but there are other vendors selling a similar item (just search on the website).

I got the clamped version but the shop ended up welding them because the factory is a little less than 2.5” (they added a shim in-between) and it also has a bend from the suitcase so thickness is uneven. The shop was very meticulous and made sure everything was aligned and even for all tips before welding. They did a great job. Cost was $135 for the 4 tips shipped and $250 for the install. Turned out better than I expected. Very happy with the results. If you are happy with the NPP sound, I highly recommend this if you are looking to improve the look .

4.5's really fit in that fascia nicely but you can't go larger than that.

I agree, 4.5" really fills it out nicely. Maybe 4.75" might fit too.
