Exhaust Setup

Hello, I have a 2016 Camaro LT and im looking to do exhaust work on it. I previously had Muff Delete, Stock Res and Secondary Cat Delete and i liked the sound i took the stock res off and put a MF Res X-Pipe and i did not think it was make a huge sound difference but it did.

I did wanna go catless on it so was wondering if i went catless would it bring it louder again also anyone have catless setups on there v6's? or what can i do to the setup on mines right now to make it a little bit louder or if i can even see other people's setups as well

Appericate the help!

yes, removing the cats will make it louder. you will have your check engine light on too.
because it is loud does not mean it sounds good. if you're going for loud over all things. just gut the cats and remove the cat back. it will be very loud, most people will mistake the sound of your car for a tractor

Going catless will add significant rasp, especially with muffler deletes. You’d also need a tune, you’d have a CEL without one. Cat delete is not a good mod just for sound purposes.

Muffler delete will sound like booty and will blow out your eardrums in short order. I'm serious, you will likely need ear protection every time you hop in and question your life decisions after a drive or two. These cars do NOT do well with resonant frequencies and there is a reason why the factory suitcase muffler is as large as it is. The only other brand which does a good job with eliminating those god awful frequencies is Corsa (maybe Borla? I don't know about them) but the price you pay for them is a premium.
