Easy burnouts, whether you want them or not

Worked on installing the front BMR adjustable sway bar and BMR end links over the wknd... Seems like if I size out the BMR end links to match the OEM end links as the instructions call for and install into the inner stiffest setting of the sway bar the sway bar will impact the control arm...

*** Unbolted already but will impact like this when bolted up

Would I simply shorten up the end link to add clearance? No mention of adjusting end links when matched with the adjustable sway bar but they do mention moving sway bar forward/back on the slotted holes in the sway bar mount but that didn't help LOL.

*** UPDATE: BMR emailed me back and said, "If you can adjust the endlink to clear that is fine. The zl1’s have some differences from a ss that cause that." So, pretty much I had expected but wanted to confirm before I go tweaking and throw off suspension geometry and what not, lol.

Surprisingly, the nannies do a pretty good job in a straight line. However, the small section width really shows its weakness in the bends.

I was surprised by how easy it is to still break traction after putting 305's on my car.

Added some red vinyl to cut down on the chrome glare. Compliments the red seat belts

Went to the Chevy dealership and ordered a Corvette. So trading the Camaro in. They offered me $25,000 for it.

Yeah, you definitely can, but WAY more grip than the run-flat 275's!

Thinking I’m kinda done..

Want to give a shoutout to Krops; if he hadn’t told me a few years ago in my build post I had some body roll I never would of looked into sway bars and gone down this rabbit hole. Truly appreciate it man.

And before anyone says with all this money in I should of bought a V8, I paid $15k for the car in 2019, bought parts on sale or used over the course of 6 year, sold stock parts, and did all the work myself. Not as much in as you probably think… gotta love the V6

If anyone needs the real authentic GMP CAI CARB sticker, I just ordered (and received) the real GM sticker for $14 delivered from GMPartsStore.com the part number is 84152144 (this was exactly the label for my 2020 2SS with the GMP CAI) I wanted a new label because when I first got it I stuck in on the hood (we all do dumb things) and it makes MUCH more sense to put it on the back of the actual Cold Air Intake, the item wasn't on back order but they had to get it from the warehouse, etc, took about 10 days but the legit, authentic real GM label showed up, for $14 including shipping!

Here was my original mistake...

Here is the order for the new one and the new sticker which is 100% identical to the original one...

Nice work! What sway bar stiffness settings did you go with on your sway bars front and back?

My OCD would drive me crazy with adjustable sway bars and coil overs so everything BMR is as non-adjustable as possible.

For the back, on your earlier post, I had to swap out the BMR end link heim joints with a chromoly set since the originals wore down within a year. I do have the end links dialed as low as possible and the sway bar still sits at about a 12 degree upward angle.

Fronts are also non adjustable but I have the front BMR end links preloaded with my weight in the driver seat. Not sure I can really preload without adjustable coil overs but I’d like to think it makes a little difference.

Haha, nice! Yeah, I agree... All of my suspension parts that I've installed are non adjustable when that was an option other than the sway bars I had full adjustable everything on my WRX suspension and never actually changed the adjustment of anything after the initial install and they were pretty noisy, lol.

What chromoly heim joints did you end up going with?

Just this pair from Amazon. Held up pretty strong so far. Need two sets because of how they’re threaded.
