HIGH FLOW CATS...

Hi Fellas,

Are there any out there that actually last? From the posts I have seen on high flow cats, it seems like they fail quite a bit and aren't worth the money, any input?

Great question... if you want the good ones, look no further than the GESI UHO 4.5" #85230 rated at 850hp per cat!

I upgraded to these and had them welded in with Vbands after my American Racing HF Cats were heavily folded over after only 3k miles...

I concur, I have a set of those as well and they are the best you can get for performance and reliability !!!

Exactly what happened to my AR HF Cats after 4k. Found them to be loose in the can during oil change. You could bang on them with your fist and hear them rattle. Switched to the GESI high flow 850 cats now.

Thanks guys, I will look into these now. Going in for a 2650 build in 2 weeks.

I also have the Gesi. They are still good after 2 years with the mods in my signature. Check out CSP Racing, they sell these Cats with headers in a kit.
Are you getting your mods done at Florida High Performance? I know Erik is a dealer for Harrop.

Powertech Performance. I don't know what Im going to do for traction. I have a K&N (Previous Owner) and a GT Haus exhaust and spin in 2nd right now with 345 R888rs.

Nice, I’ve talked to Joe before, seems like a great guy. I was originally going to go the 2650 route right out the gate, but decided to go with headers, Roto fab, and e to start. I also have the csp headers and high flow cats (which I think are the gesi’s) and I can tell you traction is a no go in 1st or 2nd. (I have a m6)

Curious about the harrop, he did t offer that as an option when I talked to him. Is it the same price as the Maggie, or is there other benefits over the Maggie? Haven’t heard much about them on a lt4 yet.
