I had not seen this. Really enjoyed it, and I hope GM is smarter than I think they are, and brings another Camaro to us, that’s worthy of the nameplate.

Get rid of that woman running GM, who has an obsession with EV's, that no one outside of California wants and maybe we'll get another ICE Camaro.

Honestly, considering how cost and time intensive it is to develop another Camaro generation, just give us a Gen6 Version2 (Gen6.2). The Alpha chassis is still relevant and competitive. First thing they could do is develop a Z/28 to create buzz on the return of the Camaro. I'd be fine if the Gen6.2 is the same body, maybe another refresh.

I really enjoyed the video but I get really tired of those reviewers that have to show they can drift the car. I'd much rather see how fast they can lap it or quarter mile it.

I also didn't like that they complained about the brakes getting easily overwhelmed. I track my 1LE regularly and the OEM pads do not get easily overwhelmed. And while it does tend toward understeer, you can largely neutralize that with trail braking. But hey, at least they finally did a review of it and praised it for being awesome! |

Some YT reviewers don't fully appreciate its track prowess. But IMO, SG does a good job showcasing both its ability and fun. That's important since there are cars out there that may be quick but are otherwise sterile and effectively a video game IRL. Lastly, agree on brakes. My guess is it was stock fluid. Jack drivers harder than many and the owner might not have even known the issue existed until Jack started to wring it out. |
