New "toys" hera and on the way!

I made an Executive descision yesterday ... I went to Home Depot and bought a Husky 3-ton, low profile floor jack (damn, that thing is heavy), then to Harbor Freight and picked up 4, 6-ton jack stands (in a blue very close to the Hyper-Blue Metallic of my 6th Gen).

Then once back home, I ordered a set of ZL1 Add-ons jacking pads in red (nice contrast to my blue), as well as a set of shifter bushings from All Metal Bushings.

I have a You Tube Channel (Detailed by Don), where I filmed my transformation from semi-educated detailer, to Trained by Yvan LeCroix detailer. It's way too cold here in NE Ohio to do anything detailing, but trying to find detailed videos on INSTALLING the shifter bushing upgrades has been unsuccessful.

So, when the bushings and ZL1 jack pads arrive, I'm going to attempt a video on replacing the shifter bushing. Since it's going to be just me filming (with my phone) and doing the work, I can already tell the video will likely be choppy, jiggly and probably out-of-focus a lot, but I'm going to do my best.

Stay tuned ...

As soon as the shifter bushings come in, I plan on trying to put them in - NE Ohio weather be damned. With any luck, I will get to use my cousin's garage ... it's heated and he has a lift!!!
