Jenny Craig 2025

I need to lose more weight, and I wonder how much the OEM front brake kits weigh on the ZL1/1LE?

I'll also replace the front seats, which weigh around 58# each.

I think a set of carbon fiber wheels should be in your near future, roughly around $12,000 for a set of (4) 😂😂😂

I put the TBM brakes on the front mine and it dropped the weight of the car 80lbs. Didn't weigh it before and after the I did the 15 inch conversion on the rear with the Carlyle brakes.

Did you already ditch the rear seats? Pull the front sway bar?

Yes, have the rear seat delete, looking at Braun FALCON-S Series Fixed Back Bucket FRP Composite Seats, haven't considered the sway bar,

Have you considered CF fenders and hood? A much cheaper route.

Look in to the new tbm xs3 front brakes. They are more street worthy than the drag brakes and still drop 90% of the weight. Check out Tillett seats if you want some baller stuff. Start by taking most of the weight off the front of car. Plenty of things to delete and remove depending on how far you want to go.

The 1LE aero is hurting you far as straight-line performance so delete that. Carbon fiber wheels, TBM brakes, Seats, pull all the carpet in favor of something thinner. Carbon body panels, replace all glass with lexan or whatever the new improved stuff is(forget the name). Have exhaust vbanded so you can drop it just past the resonators, put a panel in place of where the stock muffler would normally reside, so wind doesn't catch the lower part of the rear bumper and act as a parachute...or cut it out. All of this would probably drop the car's ET almost a second in the 1/4. #Because race car!

Not after my shop quoted $8k for the two doors!

I'm not that serious about it. It has ZL1 aero, but I'm willing to do seats, front brakes, and maybe lightweight front wheels/tires. My shop quoted $8k for CF doors, so that's out. A 427 SB would be simpler.

I am seeing fenders for $1400 to $1600 each in CF. Don't know what the wt savings would be.

Have you thought about moving to a ported maggy 2650? The power difference could alleviate the pain of spending big money on weight savings with a little more power.

I asked Kong, and he said the difference isn't worth the change. It made 1170 corrected last week and ran 151 last summer, so it's probably in the high 8s already.

When I start considering a bunch of Jenny Craig items, I also consider the cost of 427 SB minus the sale of my 390.
