I'm currently using my vehicle as a work project. I recently put together an LT4 fuel system and LT2 intake to get literally the same WHP (but potentially as a max effort N/A build, no PD or centrifugal). I also don't have a GM tool to remove the injectors from the rail, but I'm confident I can get it off with your method. I don't plan on swapping injectors often, so I can't really see myself getting a nigh-$200 tool that I'm only going to perhaps use once. Any tips on this?
I’ve never needed a tool to remove the injectors. However get a good quality seal compression tool for reinstalling them. I bought a cheap Amazon tool the first time around and it sucked lol

Anything to do in the tune to start besides change the
flow rate? Put L87 inj on L83 2.9 Whipple because I had them and it's dumping fuel at idle. Replaced seals. Went 96.5>121.1 in Hp. Out of ideas..

I didn’t use the seal tool on mine and it was fine. I did clean up the bores before installing though.

My apologies to the OP. Just realized I butted in with an off topic question. A few beers and much frustration sir. Best, Ted
