ecm removal/tuning
I am attempting to remove the ecm from my 23' Camaro lt for tuning by trifecta performance. I am attempting to remove the wires connecting directly into the silver ecm. They have a red clip and a lever mechanism upon engaging both and fully pulling the lever in its intended direction there is no movement from the connectors. is there a secondary locking mechanism ?

Why are you removing the ECM? To my knowledge, that is not necessary.

Yeah that seems interesting that you are wanting to take the ECM out. Did the shop tell you to do that?
