NPP Exhaust Functioning Properly?

Hey all,

I recently swapped out my AWE track edition exhaust for the Corsa npp exhaust. I wanted to know if my valves are functioning properly. When I’m in neutral with the car parked and have track mode selected on the sound management screen, are the valves supposed to close when you rev the motor past 2k? They’ll be open at idle but when I rev the motor they close and then open again once the rpms come down. Is this correct? I know they are supposed to stay open while you are driving, which I didn’t get to test yet since it’s winter but how about when the car is parked?

Not sure about the situation you describe, but track mode will not keep them open 100% of the time (which I think most of us expected it would) and I couldn't stand it. Felt like I wasted money on NPP and simply pulled the fuse.

You can have it fixed in the tune also

I believe it closes the valves in 5th and 6th on the manual trans. I just thought it was odd for the valves to close as I’m revving it in neutral. I’m definitely thinking about tuning the exhaust modes
