AFM Actuators Delete
Hello folks. Has anyone tuned out their AFM actuators using HP Tuners? I've been driving around with them zip tied but now want to eliminate them all together. I followed this post https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...hp-tuners.html in a Corvette forum and I think I've followed the instructions correctly.
Below is my CCM table and I have checked all the necessary codes to "No Error Reported" as stated by user Fyreant. Do I also have to set the "AFM Valve Enabled" parameter to "Disabled"? Any help would be much appreciated.

Should be able to set the codes to no error reported and uncheck the box. The set the tab in the CCM for "AFM Valve" to disabled. It's been a while since I did it but I don't recall anything special.

you should set the AFM valve to disabled.

Probably because if AFM/DOD is disabled in the ECM it will never try to communicate with the CCM to actuate the valves. But it's always best to be thorough.
