Car bra

Anyone know a place online that sells bras for the Camaro? Looking for a vinyl one to cover the front for a road trip.

I would never put a bra on, paint swirls, I suggest getting PPF and if that doesn't work for the budget yet get track armour as a temporary solution. Might not look the best but for long trips it will protect. I have PPF and still use track armour on top of the PPF on track days.

That's what I bought, haven't used it yet but didn't think it would really do much to protect against rocks.

I use a novistretch on my c7 z06. It's worked really well on long road trips and have not noted any serious rock hits on removing the bra. My only gripe on my c7 is I have to be careful on areas where the splitter scrapes as it can tear the bra apart if it catches when it scrapes. It's good protection on top of a clear bra as it makes cleaning up when you get to your destination really easy.

This is what I use. I have used it since my 2017 was new and am on my 4th one. I have had them pelted with stone and no paint chips just because of the cushion the netting provided. My radiator is completely free of bugs and other debris. Last year I curbed my spoiler and broke the corner out. The mask took a beating as well as the spoiler breaking but I did notice that there were no paint scuffs where the plastic broke.

Anyway, I swear by this one.

Sorry to be a buzz kill, but Novastretch does have down side(s).

It’s a sand and debris catcher at the lower portion of the front wheel wells. If you leave it on too long, which is not too long actually, it will definitely marr the paint. I have some mild damage experience with this on a previous Camaro.

I do use it from time to time, but it comes off very quickly. The only thing that would change that would be self healing PPF. Most specifically at the wheel well bases, as well as any of the Novastretch doubled up and stitched outer portions ( very likely do damage because of the pressure on the paint, debris and movement).

I just plan on using it when I relocate from TX to FL. I really don't drive the car much, I have a little Mazda as my daily.

I would use track wrap (thick plastic film with temporary adhesive) instead. You don't want a cover that shifts around in the wind and collects dust, marring the paint, as Chutzpah said.

Sure, you can compound and polish the paint afterwards, but why would you want to waste some of the thin clearcoat for no good reason.

I'm seeing reviews that it can pull the clear/paint off. If anything I'll just do a couple of strips of vinyl wrap and peel that off as it seems easier and less risky.
