Update incoming

Ill post an update tomorrow December 5th, not what you'd expect, the shop refused to tune the car as requested. Car is going out of state at some point to be tuned I'll update tomorrow on what went down.

In the meantime enjoy the new drag pack
Weld V series 18x6, 17x10
Custom coated rears in solid black with matching billet push caps to match the front caps and wheels

Do 17" wheels not fit on the front?

Not likely since the ZL1 has larger front brakes. I run 18” front runners on my SS as well.

Drag Pack

The V series is a forged drag wheel and the lightest offering Weld makes.
After talking with Weld they recommended only running the V series front runner in an 18x6 due to the 17x5 not having enough wheel material essentially and being sturdy enough to handle street abuse if the car would see use of the drag pack on the street. Ill be running MT ET Street R's in the rear 305/45/17 (28" tall) and a 28x6x18 MH Racemaster Drag Radial for the front skinny.

My plan now since being thrown into limbo with my current shop is to take the car out of state, have it properly tuned and throw an RTS 6XD 6speed sequential transmission in it!!! Will follow up tomorrow I've reached out to Vengeance Racing in GA and RPM Motorsports in Delaware 2 of the premiere shops in the country for LT platforms to get my car into them and no success yet. Most shops want to build a car at my level from step 1 and not work on something done outside of their own shop. So the search goes on I wont rest until this car is fine tuned by a shop with a serious reputation at this point. To much money invested to not have the car I wanted!!!

Wow…! That’s quite the undertaking. Looking forward to seeing it completed and hearing about the details required to make that work in a gen6 Camaro.

Transmission

There's a really awesome video worth a look if you've got 10 min to spare on Youtube. It's on the "Vengeance Racing" channel that shows this exact transmission in a street driven 1300RWHP Camaro ZL1 1LE. This thing is a game changer for any high HP manual as it should be for the cost.
