OEM SS 1LE reps

First post here. I bought my son a 1LT RS and he wants to upgrade wheels. Will the SS 1LE reps, 20x10 & 20x11s bolt up with no issues? If anyone has photos that would be great too! Thanks.

Yep, they'll bolt right up, here is my 2020 2SS with the MRR 017 wheels... You'll just need new lug nuts as the lug holes on the MRRs are smaller than the OEM wheels... I bought these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004U3THY8

As the Captain said, the MRR 017 kit will work fine, offsets are slightly different from stock but not enough to matter.

However, if you can find a set of used OEM SS 1LE wheels, that's the best choice IMO. Unlike replicas, those are fully forged and very durable, plus you can reuse the stock lug nuts because they have more lug nut clearance, just like the stock wheels. I found a great deal here years ago, and still have those wheels, they're perfect.

Here’s a pic of the wheels on the RS. If he wants to make it even more aggressive looking, add a splitter. The one I have installed is a cheapo EBay 3 piece. I added double sided tape to the grooved section(to make it more secure). Total cost somewhere between $80 or $90…

I just re read, your post… his RS is 2017, the front end is a bit different from mine.

I know it's digging up an old thread, but using your link, want to make sure they didn't change that listing to something else. the 14mm x 1.5 is the right size for the MRRs correct? I just ordered my set today because someone drove me off the road yesterday and it damaged my passenger front wheel so decided what better time to just get new wheels and tires. The Amazon listing claims it doesn't fit, so wanted to verify.

14mm x1.5 is the thread size, and that's correct for any wheel on the stock wheel studs. The issue with many aftermarket wheels is that their lug nut wells are not wide enough in diameter to accommodate a 21mm socket, which is the hex size of the stock lug nuts. For those wheels, you need replacement lug nuts that have the same thread specs but use a 19mm (3/4") socket.

Perfect, that's what I wanted to validate. I'd found several variants and wanted to make sure. Ordered and will be here in a couple days! Appreciate the help and confirmation!

Yeah, they'll be fine... Amazon is comparing those to the OEM lugs, which they are different 19mm vs 21mm, so that is why it is flagging...
