Hopefully that higher price will stop people from buying them, I'm tired of dipshits in Furd V8 GT revving at me from the other side of the street as we pass each other......rev at me at a stop light you sissy haha

I do like the auto. It shifts fantastic. It does make the low torque car feel like it has a lot of torque.

The GT comes with a very bad getrag manual so no tr6060 or this car would be a manual

While not a V8 but still a similarly priced car with as good/better performance I consider the Supra it’s main competition. The B58 ain’t no joke. If something were to happen to my camaro I’d get that depending on how many thousands under msrp I could get the 25 Mustang GT. Ford dealers are dealing whereas Toyota dealers make you beg. While the GT does start quite a bit less than a Supra I’d only get a premium with performance pack (and it will still handle worse than the Supra) so it will be priced pretty much the same.

As an SS 1LE owner (the GM car I’d say is the direct competition to a GT350), I test drove one and it IS a more epic car than an SS/SS 1LE on the street. If it didn’t have motor issues I’d probably be in one. On track though I think I still like my SS 1LE more as I think it feels more composed.

Funny that the tremec 3160 Is an upgrade for the gt350 and is used in the 4&6 cylinder gen 6. I would think gen6 SS would be less trouble

I don’t think internally it’s the same 3160 as in the Camaro. Compared to the TR6060 the GT350 3160 felt great. It felt very different but not in a bad way. It was a very pleasant transmission to shift. If you asked me to pick between the gt350 3160 and the Camaro 6060 I’d lean slightly towards the 6060. Both are very pleasant to shift but feel very different.
