They still stop fantastic and they were in Grabber Blue

EDIT: and like BMW and others Ford in their infinite wisdom decided that on a the 5.0 they only needed the Brembo up front and the "silver painted" cheapos in the rear. I could not handle looking at that.

I would like to have a Shelby GT 500 but, at my age I am done buying new cars. That is why I will continue to make my ZL1 my dream car with mods. The itch to constantly buy something else is gone.

Yes, It was a while back. I did not trade it for the Stang though. I will post the story soon, basically life punched me in the nuts.

I'm feeling the same way about my little SS, it's everything I need in terms of power, looks, usability, comfort etc. The one car I'd definitely like to try (but not buy) is the Shelby GT350 with its peculiar engine; the C8 feels meh, the GT500 is just a very strong Mustang that my SS would still probably beat, nothing special.

All I buy now for the Camaro is spare parts in case GM stops making anything for it, the way they completely cut it out of even communications, let alone their vehicle portfolio. Got me a pair of smoked taillights, headlights, a starter, various interior bits... call me silly, but that's already where I am in my early 50s.

I guess this is a good a place as any,

Life came at me and I had to move the Shark. I was/am still very not happy about it.

When things settled down, I looked and looked for another one but at the time the dealers were "out of reach" for me. I wanted another RDW V8, Looked and looked for a 2SS Vert, dealers were out of reach again. This deal dropped on the 5.0 and I took it.

No Zl1, but it is a very nice car.

Everytime I think about selling my 2020 2SS (because I hardly ever drive it, it only has 10k miles on it, never driven in the rain, absolutely mint condition) I just read these threads and realize if I sell it and then regret selling it (which is highly likely I would regret), I realize I'll have no way to ever get another one... (Especially not a brand new one with 3 miles on it like mine had when it got delivered after I special ordered it...)

So... I have a garage queen, but it is DAMN nice to walk out there with a cocktail, sit and stare at it and maybe even give the engine bay a nice detailing while listening to some classic rock...
