Does a Rotofab ZL1 intake fit on a LT1/SS?

I’m seeing a lot of used ZL1 cold airs for sale and I’m wondering if they would fit on a LT1\SS.

I'm not 100% sure but I think they are different. Have you just gone to the RotoFab website (or another parts place like Phastek), searched for the part using both models of car, and see if the part numbers are the same or different?

The intake pipe is definitely very different, since it connects to the supercharger on the ZL1 and the intake manifold on the SS at different angles and lengths. The airbox and the filter element are probably the same.

Man, have these intakes gone up in price, they're $560-570 a pop

Yep it’s everything. When I bought all the same mods in 2016, everything was significantly cheaper. I thought when innovation, we would have better products and prices, but nope same as it was back then.

My Roto-Fab cost $325 in 2018 (and that included Jannetty Racing's minimal margin, but I won't even discount that), while the same part sells for $520 today. A juicy 60% more for the exact same unit

Look at a LT4 engine and reference the offset throttle body angle and then compare to a LT1... You should notice the intake elbow connecting to the throttle body is very different.

Here is a solution to make it work. Install a LT4 supercharger!! You will see much larger power gains.
