Thank you....I had a hard time finding that document. It's been a while since I looked into it.

Our gearing is pretty interesting when referencing that chart.

A mix of 500-560 input tq

First part is true, and the last, but things like gear material can change, shot peen, etc all can add capacity.

The basic reason the strength changes is; the steeper the gear=> means that that the gear on the main shaft has to grow while the gear on the counter shaft shrinks. The small gear (in diameter) has a decreased lever arm (less teeth contact area also but not going there) on its respective shaft. Hence ALL transmissions can be judged by strength knowing the center-line distance between main and counter shaft. Yes width of gear has a minor role to play.

I verified with Tremec that the input shafts have the same dimensions, so it would seem the ZL1 clutch will work.

always like going with the best OEM, except for the LS1 clutch slave... completely useless and it was not till the z06 that a decent oem slave was released.

Best I can determine that would be an unqualified "Yes". What strikes me most about this post is the lack of personal input from folks about this or that aftermarket upgrade, or their experience when the clutches went out on their cars. Is our factory unit that tough? Chevy sold this package since 2016. There's gotta be some failures out there.
