Headlight bulb

How easy/difficult is it to replace a bulb in the headlight? One of mine is turning pink.

If its an LED bulb you're outta luck and need to replace the whole headlight, if it's a standard bulb you should be able to gain access through the front wheel well shield.

The 2017 SS came with HID headlights, that's why your bulb is turning pink as the chemicals and salts inside the HID capsule slowly deteriorate over time.

You can replace them the same way you would a normal halogen bulb, there are plenty of youtube videos on the topic.

The main differences are that HID bulbs have a much larger base, use a different connector (ours are D3S) and are more expensive. You MUST NOT touch the bulb glass when working with them, I suggest that you wear latex gloves and replace both bulbs, of course.

I took a look at youtube and found a video of the install. I replaced the driver side bulb and it was fairly easy.
