Anybody running 325/30r20 rears on GM 1LE wheels

Question came up on another thread and certainly seems feasible. 11" wide wheel is the minimum width for 325's. i have 305/30R20 on my LT1 now and although it's hard to see, there's plenty of room (over an inch to the inner wheel liner) in this pic to fit the extra 10 millimeters /.4 inch on each side. My Supercar tires are still fine but won't last so just gathering info for future need and others that may be interested.

Curious why you need a 325? I have a 305 pilot sport all season in the back and I don’t even spin. I think I make around 550whp.

M6 car, I spin a lot… have to short shift 2nd with Supercar 3’s. I’m also looking for more sidewall. NY potholes.

I'm an m6 car as well, If you are similar power to me then you should not be spinning bad at all. What mods you got? I mean you could probably get away with a 325, or just go to a 305/35r20

LT2 intake, no major mods. Launch at 4K in Competitive Mode on the street with the backs at 25psi and a healthy burn out. Unless I lower it, the 1LE tire size leaves a healthy gap in the fenders so there is room for more sidewall (which I’d prefer) and wider rears for more grip.

Going to a 305/35/20 would do a lot more for your spinning than going 325/30/20 will FYI. Or get a softer compound tire. I run 315/30/20 R888R out back on the street and as long as it’s warm (and not at full boost lol) the traction is pretty good.

Physics has called and wants to start an inquiry.

put a 305/35 555r2 on it. Unless you drive in the winter or road course the car it will be the best decision you even made.

This is what my car use to do on the street with that tire and bolt-ons. Best was 3.4 0-60...dead hook 45 degrees out. On run flats it would spin to 60-70mph

This was best 0-60 on the street before the LT2, just thinking wider and taller would be a benefit. Thought the Supercar 3’s were pretty sticky but still could use some help.

I have aftermarket wheels on my ZLE, Advan GT Beyond. Rears are 20x11 +35 and I run a 325/30 20 on them. Been doing it for over two years without issue.

Dead serious. ~550 whp and a 305 ps4 all season in the back and I don't spin from a 50 roll. That's what I meant.

You'd need a bias ply to not spin from a dig, if thats what you thought I meant.

Well, that was an important detail...
