1LE Tire Size Question

I have the MRR 1LE reps on my non1LE SS and was wondering if anyone here is running tire size 295/30 20's on the fronts? The 285's are 11.2" wide and the 295's would be 11.6" wide.. I would be leaving the 305's in the rear. The rake would then be nearly identical to the stock SS tire heights. So the big question is can the fronts handle the extra width?

I would think the wheel would handle it just fine, you are only going 10mm wider than stock...

Another option is to go 275/35 up front and that will basically give you the SS non-1LE sidewall height as well... I currently have the MRR017's on my non-1LE SS (with MRC), I currently have 285/30 & 305/30s, when tire time comes I'm planning to go 275/35 and 315/30s which will basically give me my old SS sidewall height but with a lot more width...

I did the comparison to show the the 295's in the front actually match up more even than the 275's, with the 305 rears.

295 in the front will probably hit the strut tower at full lock. 285 is already really close IMO.

275/35 fits the front. Just throwing that out there...it's what I run for my winter tire setup (285/35 rear)

Thanks guys. Yeah, I'm thinking that the 295's up front would not be a good idea after all. The extra width and slight increase in height would most probably hit the strut.

295/30/20 on the front clears the front struts just fine on my car

Been running 295/30/20 PS4S up front all season just fine on stock 1LE wheels. The only thing I noticed was the front sidewalls are a little bubblier with the 295's and the rear 305's have that perfect sidewall so if you're really picky you may not like the different look front to back.
