Depressing no 25's to talk about.
This time of year guys are usually tracking cars, waiting on allocations, looking at options and model year changes, and posting pictures of the newly delivered Camaro. And not seeing that really just sucks! Miss Becky D and her update thread! And with the way this country and Manufactures are heading it feels more final this time compared to 2002 when they stopped.

Unfortunately, because it is, Becky is gone as well as the ICE Camaro... I don't think we'll ever see another one...

Got too admit. It was a fun experience to read here everyone's hope, mine too for an 2000 status code. Like a lot of things in life. They were good times and are now gone. Glad I had a chance to order mine, just the way I wanted. Goodbye ICE Camaro's.

I ordered my car due to Becky's presence, and then Joe's on this forum and their reputation. Having taken delivery at that dealership after both of their passings was really lackluster and unremarkable from what I had expected. Im sure that that dealers camaro sales took a hit.

I read that ordering status thread every day for years, even long after I got mine. It's fun to see the excitement when someone gets a completed code or a shipping notice.

Maybe now that the EV mandate will be gone come January (thank God), perhaps it won't be the end of the ICE Camaro.

Said the same thing! I'm afraid GM has already spent too much money to kneel and kiss the ring that they might not be able to recover and go back.

All the excitement that started in 2008-2009 is no more, I remember those days very well and something special about ordering your car. Can't picture there ever being another ICE Camaro with the path GM has long been on with no end in sight regardless of EV market GM will push forward with EV's.

Becky was amazing. She helped me with tracking my 5th gen 1LE. Helped me get in touch with Maureen and ordered a few parts from her. Amazing people and amazing team Roger's Chevrolet was.

Buy a Blackwing while you can. That platform is carrying the torch that the 6th gens lit. GM is (sadly) giving up on ICE performance outside of the Corvette.

They could have easily sold many more 2024's had they built them. I talked to 2 dealerships trying to get one, neither got an allocation. Several other people I know wanted to buy but couldnt either. Once again, Ford wins. |
