Arrow GMS - Triple Heat Exchanger Set

Figured I'd make this into it's own thread...

My modified CSF AUX coolers are finally in stock, just finished my install last night! These now come in satin aluminum, and with -10 ORB bungs allowing you to either run the factory 5/8" quick connects or with a little snip and cut, you can run some 120 degree -12AN to 3/4" hose barbs... that increased my flow on the stock pump another 22% from 4.1gpm to 5.0gpm. Which means when you get my stage.II kit... ALL plumbing from the fender tank, main HX and AUX coolers can now all be 3/4" hose!

I agree, every little bit you can do to help flow, and capacity really helps the higher efficiency HX's work better. I noticed last week my HX coolant temps are always at or below ambient... now having both AUX coolers working for the HX system, the supercharger has a hard time increasing coolant temps, which keeps cool fluid flowing, which helps to keep your IAT's more consistent, harder to increase, and faster to decrease. And this is all using the OEM pump... more testing to follow with the CWA150.

For those who are wondering... I also did a test bypassing the passenger side AUX cooler from the HX system to see if it benefited the flow or pressure and it did not. Pressure and flow stayed the same, so I plumbed it back in for more testing.

I only have (4) more sets avaible... On sale now at www.griffin-motorsports.com

Agreed, so nice! Even on upgraded HXs like the AFCO it’s still the same crappy 5/8” connections at the OEM fittings that snap onto the aux HXs…wish it was all 3/4”….

I agree... that really sucks, and it hurting flow, even with the larger HX. Running all (3) for the HX seems to be helping. On my first test drive (45) miles each way to the CSF event... HX coolant temps were 2 degree less than ambient at all times from the SC. After the SC, was only 3-4 degree more when cruising on the FW... After a few pulls, I would see the coolant temps increase 10F+ after the SC, showing how the coolant is absorbing the heat... but the system (3 upgraded HX + Fender Tank) easily cooled those temps back lower than ambient before that coolant made its way back into the SC. Granted this was at night, with 60-65F temps... but it is data non-the less.

More to follow
