Same here and done it a few times now, no problems.

I’ve lifted my car from the pinch weld a few times and haven’t noticed any issues with quarter panel creases. Just make sure to use a proper jack and support it well. It's always good to double-check everything after lifting to catch any potential problems early.

I know it's been a while, but I get your concern about lifting from the pinch welds and causing those quarter panel creases. It can be a real headache. I’ve seen it happen before, and it’s not pretty. Try using a scissor lift instead of a regular jack or lift if you can. It spreads the weight more evenly, which helps avoid those annoying creases. Just make sure you place the lift pads in the right spots. Always double-check the owner's manual for any specific lifting points. If you’re worried, putting a piece of wood or rubber between the lift and the pinch weld can help, too. It adds a little cushion and gives you peace of mind.

Mine sat on jackstands located at those jacking points for over 3-1/2 years with no issue

You have seen quarter panel creases just from jacking the pinch weld alone?
Or are you talking about what can happen if the jack slips?

The only place I have jacked my car so far is the pinch welds and differential. I use home made jack pucks. Haven't had any concerns yet.

What he said!

I think this is the first time I've seen one AI respond to another AI though! They must be getting smarter. It's not Skynet yet, thank goodness.
