Towing a Camaro on a Uhaul trailer

So I'm planning to move 1100 miles away and trying to figure out if I should tow the car, ship it, or drive it.

Option 1: tow it behind the uhaul, ship my 2014 Mazda (lowest cost option)
Option 2: ship it enclosed, drive uhaul and two my mazd (second most expensive, and reliable transport and other well known companies have a 1-5 week range for pickup)
Option 3: two uhaul pods, ship Mazda and drive the Camaro (most expensive)

I looked at Penske rentals and for some reason the Camaro is not compatible with their hauler. For Uhaul it does.

I'd love to ship the Camaro but the biggest problem would be the unknown pickup date, I have to start my drive with the moving truck and no one will be here to hand over keys.

So has anyone had a good experience with towing the Camaro on a uhaul?

having towed my 4th Gen numerous times using a U-Haul carrier, they are actually quite good. make sure you load it engine forward. Be mindful of you front chin spoiler/air dam. If you can't get your doors open, even with trailer fenders peeled down, be prepared to crawl out the window or through the trunk.

Towed ZL1 for 800 miles using Uhaul Box truck and Uhaul trailer with 0 issues.

Just have some 2x4 so you can clear the front bumper but other than that 0 issues

Search these forums. There are a ton of threads about this and I have been reading them because I’m looking to buy a truck in order to tow my Camaro to far away tracks.

There are somethings you’ll have to do to make it fit that are detailed in the threads about it. You may be able to not have to do any of the things since I think your LT1 sits higher than the zl1 and SS 1le (unless you added a splitter).
