Good to hear, I lived in Cali for 15 years military/contractor and you forgot how "normal" the rest of the country is after you leave.

Are you one of those people that think the only two places to live in CA are LA and SF?

All the other places are just as bad long beach, Santa Monica, Newport, Huntington, don't fool yourself. You may just be used to seeing homeless everywhere. I went from paying 1k for my Camaro to register it there, 1k to register my wife's Silverado, and what would have been 1k for my new Colorado had I bought it there at an upcharge to $40.00 per vehicle. Don't get me started on quality of life improvements....if I want to go back to that shit state I'll visit on the weekend.....you must be a pro EV guy......

Have a solution coming soon for this. Should help with everyone who needs a "replacement sticker" who purchased the GM performance cai or cold air inductions look a like across GM platforms.

So essentially yes. I'm from in between Sac and Tahoe and it turns out, you can live in other places in CA. Not sure if you are familiar with other states, like AZ, but yes, they charge a huge tax to register a new car, which decreases as it ages out. But I've been to some real shitholes, like OK, FL, TX, places with no mountains and miserable climates.

Go to Barstow, Hesperia, Bakersfield, Antelope Valley, Palmdale, Lancaster, Victorville, Adelanto.....You'd have to leave the 30 mile radius you live in to see those shithole places in that "beautiful state"....

I lived in Ridgecrest, was stationed in China Lake for 5....you're preaching to the choir my friend, some people wear the democrat eyeglasses and look past the problems and issues that California has. The state is literally the laughing stock of the US. But I digress.

Why do you think they call it the "desert"?

Oh I didn't know you were including those California cities in the "shithole with no mountains and miserable climate" statement

My friend I'm glad you qualified your statement with "mostly". I recently saw the Tennessee legislature passed a law to make airline contrails that influence the weather (labelled chem-trails by conspiracy believers) illegal. Apparently, many members of the legislature believe the water vapor is the cause of intentional adverse weather conditions.
Maybe I'm naive, but I find that hard to believe.
