Thanks Damon. I'm enjoying both. And the D can tow 9,000 pounds too.

Finally got my BMR rear cradle lockout kit installed. I purchased it six months ago. I also had the rear diff fluid changed and a four wheel alignment done.

My initial impression is very positive. The rear feels much more planted, especially when accelerating hard. And there is minimal increase in NVH, which is what I was hoping for. Thanks to all those who have the kit who have previously shared their experiences with the it. Overall it's a good mod for the car.

I also noticed an improvement once the rear cradle lockout kit was installed, less wiggling, less floatiness. This kit is very much worth the price.

Thanks. I agree its very much worth the price. At this point I don't see that the car needs any other suspension mods.

Traded in my ZL1 last Saturday on a new to me set of wheels. Somewhat sad to let it go, but I was ready for something different and I was able to get a great price for my ZL1. Picked up a C8 3LT Z51 with mag ride and front lift as well as the GM carbon fiber ground effects kit with only 5,000 miles on it. Between MSRP and the ground effects kit the car was almost 100k originally.

The C8 is quite a bit different than my prior C6 and the Camaro. The C8's interior is much nicer and the car is quick even though the the LT2 doesn't have quite the same punch as the LT4. The C8 puts the power down so effortlessly that it almost doesn't feel as fast as it is.

Thanks!

I know. I hated to leave the Summit White club. It's been a fun one.

The C8 is a nice car, but that supercharged 6-speed manual ZL1 to me will be a more special car for the long run. Good luck with the new ride!

Congrats! How much more of a punch does your C8 have versus your old SS 1LE? Keep in mind I’m not asking how much harder it launches on the low end. More so wondering if you punch it when you’re already rolling on the highway, how much harder it pulls?

Thanks! I agree with you that the ZL1 manual is and will be a more special and rare car in the long run. I was just ready for a change and wanted to take advantage of the current value of the ZL1 and the great deal I found on the C8.

Thanks! I'm enjoying it so far. I'd say the C8 feels like it has slightly more punch than the SS 1LE does when you get on it. The gear shifts in the C8 are also super fast. My SS 1LE was a manual so I can't compare the transmission in the C8 with the 10 speed automatic in the SS. The C8 also feels lighter.

Congratulations on the C8. Nice looking ride. My buddy has one and I did enjoy driving it. The thought of getting a new C8 has crossed my mind. Especially as you said the ZL1 values are good and 2024 C8s can be had at 15% off MSRP.

One big question, do you miss the manual transmission? You probably need some time after the honeymoon and driving it more to figure that out.

Congrats, C8's are really cool. If you're missing the ZL1's supercharger you can always add one to your C8
