Location plays a factor too. The dealer already knows the market quiet well in their area and if your car is just not in high demand or if the market is already saturated with them, they can't offer you top dollar since they know they won't be able to sell it for any profit.

Yeah I get it Z, I stopped by their “sister” dealership here in Fort Worth locally and they said they can’t transfer the used one to their dealership. They did mention that it does depend on location, the location that has the ZR1 got it on a trade and their clientele is not conducive to sports cars. They mentioned they’d give me 60K+ all day but they had nothing on their lot that interests me.

New car fever would be better to get over a few more mods..... Because there's always a better car out there, the secret is buying what you really love and sticking with it as when you get older it fades, money does matter, and Regret at trading for an older auto..... well that can happen. SO just be careful look down the road to the future, a car now that can be a daily driver versus one your going to put on a pedestal... Wait until you see the depreciation that would hit trying to sell the next car..... All I can say, on my third Camaro this ones a keeper.
Lotto win though could change things but priorities are different as you age, Like just want a bolt on mainly...Not all out have to change springs and worry and etc... unless pot of gold hits. And new car fever it happens.

I don't put all my mods on the list it did not fit, I have about everything BMR but wont lower I have a driveway, I have a 2650 waiting install with a big gulp, a 103 nw, a boostapump, headers, ATI dampener, pulleys, belts, high energy coils and wires, its like christmas in a pile..... And then I will someday go finished but theres always the final touches that we dream of that matter, so I started out small with a Borla ATAK, one piece drive shaft, suspension, intercoolers, ice tank waiting...carbon fibered the interior red and people say DAMN And I am older so I don't particularly want to be just another old guy in a vette like a lot of guys at a car show, I drive mine like I stole it. And I have the 1le downplanes and Spoiler and wheels etc cause aftermarket is our friend.
And I know there will always be something better out there....Being happy with what you got well thats about Marraige and Life and having chosen well. If you loose your ride you have now I can guarantee someone else will love your investment and You will miss it someday. And stare when one drives by.....
last car 2013 Crystal red tintcoat 2ss/rs Custom wheels, lighting mods, 427 stroked ls3, cammotion cam, Elite engineering, CAI, BMR,Monster...... ETC ETC put new springs on it new brakes and traded it in for some lucky GUY...

AND Got what is my dream car. Wished I had it before my 2011 Triple black vert 2ss/rs but they had not invented it yet and local dealer could not even get a zl1.... And I knew they would eventually, now the futures a ?????? but is that car you would loose money over really your dream..compared to say a c-7 zr! or a c_8 ZR1.....Well theres a thought, hope you choose wisely, and glad I have a a-10 now with the latest goodies but could have driven the wheels off my last ride and changed its stripes over and over and wheels etc.....
