Low side for Port injection

I'm currently running out of fuel with my lt4 in tank and auxiliary pump. I want to add port injection and my engine builder suggested removing the aux and installing the fore triple pump. I really don't want to do that and was wondering if my current set up would work with the added port injection. My ultimate goal is 4 digits at the wheel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Forgot to add my current setup is Maggie 2650 and flex. Furl. My bottom end is lt1 so I plan to forge internals and use a cam that will push the lt4 pump better.

Why don’t you want to do the Fore system…? It’s the only way to fuel big power. I did the Fore Triple and my only regret was not doing it sooner.

The only cheap route is running meth. You’re either going to spend money on a high side or spend money on a low side. There is no way around it.

It's not that I have anything specific about the Fore set up I don't like, just was wondering if the lt4 in tank and aux pump was enough to support the port why tear it out? If it won't work then the Fore is the best option?

It really depends on how much power you want to make. You can make well over 900 with as Mike did with his stock Lt4 in his C7 Z06. His port injection is the ticket with the Maggie 2650, he made 963 on 22 psi of boost and 26 degrees of timing. You can make a nice street or drag strip car surpass 850 on less boost and timing. However, you will have to add the low side for sure.

What specifically are you referring to when you say add the low side? Remove the auxiliary pump setup and go with the Fore trjple?

You could also drop in a DSX or Katech dual pump in the tank. Both are a nice drop in solution that remain returnless.

If you want 4 digits at the wheels, you're going to need the Fore.
The aux pump just can't handle the demand, nor will LT4 injectors (even with the big lobe cam).
I wish I had done the Fore pump upgrade, THPSI plates and forged pistons when I first installed the 2650.

James, that's the answer I was looking for. My builder suggested the Fore, I just wanted to make sure I was going to need it. I'm definitely wanting to break 4 digits at the wheel so I guess the triple pump is a Fore gone conclusion! Sorry, I couldn't resist...

You can do it with E50, not with E85.

If you don't care about CARB where you are, FORE.

I'm not sure a stock calibration will run the primary pump in the FORE, nor if you care/need to worry about fuel sloshing around in the tank (e.g. auto_X or road racing-type stuff), but if you don't - FORE. DSX shows they're good to 1200 I guess, too. That might cover the concerns I was talking about.

Upgrade your Aux pump. There are bigger options than the 255 that comes standard. I believe there is a 325 and a Hellcat offering now.

Carb not a concern however i would like to be able to auto cross/track the car and have heard of guys having issues with the Fore setup. Uograding the auxillary pump would be a much easier route if that would work. Do you know anyone who has gone that route? Would there be anything gained from using a different in tank pump in conjunction with the larger aux? Im currently running an lt4 in tank pump.
