Pro and Cons MVP track time

Thinking about hitting mid Ohio with MVP, never ran with them before what are their pros and cons.

No cons going to the track ever.

I've only tracked with MVP and windy city bmw. No cons that I can think of all pros. Seems to be cheaper than others and no annual membership fee. Mark (believe that's his name) owner of MVP is good dude. Trying chin next month at ozarks only cause MVP isn't going there this year. Still considering joining them for mid ohio. You won't have any regrets going with MVP.

I've tracked with MVP once at Road Atlanta, it was probably the best experience I've had with a regular track day.

They gave time between sessions to send people out/bring them back in. So 20 or 25 minutes of tracktime was actually a full 20 or 25 minutes.

No complaints from my 1 track event with them.

@feffman

I've run with MVP twice at NCM, missed this year due to work...plan to register with them again in the future (hopefully November at Road Atlanta if my work schedule cooperates).

Mark runs a solid program, I blew a belt and had to be towed in, he came to make sure I was ok.

I ran with MVP last year in November at Road Atlanta for the first time. It is a solid group. There were more fast drivers in the Red Group than I've seen at most events. Plenty of track time and good driver etiquette on track.

I've run twice with them at NCM. No complaints, he runs a good event. He didn't pack the groups with as many cars as he could, unlike some other groups I've driven with. The drivers were courteous and safe.

I too have run with them once at VIR. Sessions are 30 minutes and the whole event was reasonably well managed.

Was supposed to have run with them again this summer, but Mark cancelled the event as it got closer, which was a definite disappointment as I had planned to have some friends join me. No reason was given, but full cost was promptly refunded.

I worked with them at NCM last year? I think. Maybe year before that.

Had zero issues with them other than hearing about politics in the driver's meeting (which like, have your opinions on politics, I don't mind - but like the driver's meeting is NOT the place for that), otherwise it was a great experience and I'd go back no problem.

I'll add that as an MSF Level 2/NASA certified instructor - I'd instruct for them if offered as well, which I think is more telling.

lol yeah he does like to put politics in the morning meetings. I also didn't care for that, I'm at the track to drive not to listen to anyone's political opinion. But stand by the fact that it was the best DE trackday I've done.

I’ve done events with them at VIR, Road Atlanta and NCM with similar experiences as others have mentioned, no complaints.
