How will the side impact air bags work?

Aftermarket covers are stitched like OEM and will separate like OEM when an airbag deploys.
I like the option but don’t think I could part with the suede. Wonder if the ventilated seats work better as most people say leather ventilated work better than suede.

I ran these so can give some thoughts on this. I basically felt less of the ventilated seats and less of the seat heater. They do look very very good though

Makes sense as they are a cover rather than a replacement. The air bag question is a good point though. The factory obviously designed the deployment of the airbag without the use of an additional layer.
