You need good fuel (e85) and enough of it to make sure that the LT1 stays together, if you satisfy this requirement then you'll be good to 700 RWHP without any problems.

Since you need plates anyway to adapt the SC to the LT1 you might want to consider conversion port plates, that way when you decide to turn it up you can simply add the controller run full E85 and easily reach the LT1's full capability without worrying about mixing fuels and also have some additional safety factor.

Here is my son's LT1 (mods listed in video description) running with about 12-13 psi boost if I remember correctly (I can pull the data log if anyone is interested)

If you don’t mind helping, could you tell me where I could find the plates needed to do this?

Running any less timing starts to introduce other problems. Imo 7 psi will be enough boost to hit your target power goal on Ethanol.

Never rant that flex fuel kit but it looks like it should be fine. DSX seems to be the most popular.
Thanks King.
About keeping the boost down, I will "pulley-down" using a smaller SC ring (7.2") on the ATI Superdamper crank pulley, without touching the OEM upper pulley on the blower.
Such size lower ring is expected to get me to ~ 7.5 -8 PSI peak boost.

I would probably mix a little VP octanium if you run it hard on pump gas. Also go with a 7 heat range spark plug.

I don't plan to run it hard in any case, but in summer days shall indeed add some kind of octane booster ~ 30% mix. Probably something like Toluene...

Regarding spark plugs, was advised by Andy@ADM, Mike C@ Elite/ Vengeance, Justin White and Ted J.@Jannety to run the NGK LTR6IX-11.

7s would be too cold and foul badly and cause other issues with my daily street driving routines - normally cruising under 3-K RPM.
