I usually stop 55-60 ish and have cracked 900 with 30's. Not leaning on combo hard so never pushed more E to see where it ran out.

If and when I decide to do anything more to mine I'll need your pump or one similar. Mine is almost tapped out. When will they be in stock?

We now have bundles listed with XDI injectors.

You can save a few hundred dollars ordering the Goliath and XDI injectors together.

Goliath & +30% - https://katechengines.com/i-30498322...or-bundle.html

Goliath & +50% - https://katechengines.com/i-30498323...or-bundle.html

Goliath & +70% - https://katechengines.com/i-30498324...or-bundle.html

Curious;

Will you will be providing calibration data for these pumps?

Are all these injectors in stock?

There isn't really any calibration data that needs to be supplied with the Goliath. The pump will operate with OEM settings. There are obviously some things that can be played with to get it to do different things but that will be left up to the individual tuner.

We currently have 8 sets of +30's, 2 sets of +50's, and are backordered on the +70's.

Thanks!

Just installed my Goliath pump and XDI 30's on my personal car. I'll be ramping up the E content to see what it can do on the stock fuel lobe. Car was on E35 before and the high side was giving up. First rip on the Goliath and XDI's and pressure is stable at 3000psi.

Just ramped that content up to E60 to do some more testing.

As for tuning the Goliath I did make some minor changes, but from what I am seeing so far, you don't HAVE to change anything compared to the stock LT4 pump.

As a calibrator, I feel it is extremely important to get this right.

It is imperative that the Pump control strategy is calibrated for the flow of the pump or it can under or overshoot target fuel delivery especially during load transitions.

Yes there are Short and long term adaptive, but that doesn't mean we should rely on them.

No different than sticking a big gulp on and not tuning for it, Yes it will run with the LTFT taking over but it's not right.

We do this for Cam lobes, changing from an LT1 to LT4 pump, or an XDI twin LT1 or LT4 system.

So I don't see why it would be any different, when moving from an LT4 pump to a Goliath pump.

I would think that Stanadyne or whomever would include this information when producing these pumps.

Like injector calibration is included with injectors.

I am sure they know full well what this pump flows at every inlet pressure, solenoid opening time, fuel temperature etc.

Ted.

I made some small changes in the fuel pump area specifically for the Goliath and it seems to keep the commanded vs actual high side pressure very close. Not any different than the logic you're used to when you change fuel lobes.

I am seeing a little extra movement in fuel trims in some area's but I attribute that to the XDI 30's and the Injector Density table needs some work to iron this out. I'm still making some changes here.

Does anyone think this pump would work with a completely OEM tune (on the fueling side) and be able to run full E' on a bolt-on-only car with a low-side only? E.G. - with OEM injectors, OEM fuel pressure-settings-tune, and an aux'-pump for the low side? I'm talking from the perspective of being stealth, visually, and tune-wise. I want to run a Maggie 2650 tune with only this pump, as far as fueling for E' goes (and the aux' pump, which is in stealth mode already).

The answer is no,

And, You would hit the low side limits and injector limits before ever hitting the stock high side pump limits.

No reason to upgrade the high side pump unless you are willing to upgrade the low side and injectors as well.

Looks like he's already got a Katech low side, so it's just a question of injectors, right?

What are the best PIDs to look at to determine how much room is left in your OEM high side with 30+?
