My car received some fresh PS4S rubber yesterday, the old tires were from early 2019.

275/35/20 in the front and 315/30/20 in the rear, zero issues with TC or Stabilitrak, as expected.

Tangibly more dry traction and less noise, what's not to like (...well, the new fronts were unfortunately made in France and not South Carolina because of Michelin's weird distribution of manufacturing, not much I could do about it)

I have to ask what route you took- ordered online and had a local shop mount and balance, or purchased and installed locally? My local Discount tire is the only place with a "no touch" wheel machine, but they charge $50 for each tire if they aren't purchased there. Kind've eats into any savings from going with a wholesale purchase. And my last set of Tire Rack's were already 3 yrs old when I received them. Not sure which way I'm gonna go next time.

I ordered these from a local shop that offered very reasonable prices, about $110 cheaper in total for the four tires than Tire Rack's online prices. Mounting fee was $22 per tire, plus the usual disposal/environmental fees and sales tax, of course. Interestingly, they used a new kind of transparent "lube goop" that I hadn't seen before.

Yeah I’ve found that once you develop some sort of relationship with a decent local shop you can usually beat Tire Rack pricing plus local shop does the install obviously. Hunter Revolution “touchless” mounting and Elite road force balancing FTW.

I couldn't find it in your build thread, but do you have a link for the canards, are they modified ZLE canards? Thanks

EDIT: I believe I found them on EOS

Didn't quite get the picture on the dot, but close enough.

Picked up a brand new pair of discontinued "Camaro" edition Piloti driving shoes on eBay. Actually ZL1 1LE edition. I was surprised to be able to find them in a size I can wear. I'm afraid that I have become obsessed with Piloti driving shoes over the years and now have more pairs than I care to admit.

Since my ZL1 is Summit White they look great with the car. Here are a few pictures.

Thanks! They are pretty cool to have with a ZL1, especially a white one

BTW Piloti has also made special edition shoes for the 50th anniversary Camaro, C7 and C8 and the Dodge Challenger as well as special edition 24 hours of LeMans and Indianapolis 500 among others.

Nice find! I also love my piloti’s. They do make a decent difference when driving but they also are probably my most comfortable shoe. When I first got them I thought I made a mistake because they fit awkwardly but they broke in perfectly. Customer service was great too because I did need so switch the size prior to breaking in the pair I eventually kept.

Only thing that sucks with the ones I got are they are suede and my last two track days had iffy weather so I had to pack other shoes just in case. I do love the way they look though!

Thanks! I was excited to find a brand new pair of ZL1 Camaro edition Piloti's.

I agree. A good pair of driving shoes really enhances the driving experience, especially if you have a manual transmission car. And I like Piloti's more than any other driving shoe I've tried. I've been wearing them for at least 10 years if not longer.
