My 2020 1SS didn't have them. Asked the installer when I had an amplified subwoofer put in.

There are two levels of this. Noise cancellation, which GM has used to simply quiet cars down. This is nothing more than playing “anti noise” 5at cancels out unwanted noise.
The second, and IMO worse side of this, is active noise enhancement. This is additive and is generally used to pump in engine noises. But it’s fake. BMW has been guilty among others.
