Mishimoto doesn't make the correct lower radiator hose for my model Camaro, so I ended up ordering heat sleeves. Intended for just the upper radiator hose, I had barely enough to do the lower as well. Ordered heat shrink to replace the lower gold wrap but it works for now.
From what I can tell, coolant reaches lower temps faster and stays cooler, despite pushing the engine a little hard for 20 minutes just to make sure there were no issues. After driving hard for a while I could touch the upper hose with my bare hands. Definitely cooler. And yes, coolant was added. I wanted a quick photo before I did more

Installed BMR lower trailing arm. About a pound heavier per side (OEM: 1.5lb, BMR: 2.5lb). Just need to get the upper trailing arm and upper control arm then pretty much done for suspension

Swapped the rear Powerstop Z26 pads and rotors for OEM rotors and Brembo pads. Did a quick brake bleed since I had a bottle of the RBF-700 laying around.
What a big difference in braking. Car stops almost too easily

Saw someone selling their intake manifold that was gold wrapped underneath. Figured I'd do the same since I had enough laying around.
BMR upper trailing arm arriving Tuesday. Then just the control arm is needed.

Upper trailing arm installed. Broke a bolt but thankfully the hardware store had almost an exact replacement. Just need the upper control arm to finish off the red

New Downforce DC10 20x10 ET 25 and 20x11 ET 43 arrived. Just need to get new tires (285/30 and 305/30) and wrap or paint the center caps.
Overall wheel setup will be 5 pounds lighter per wheel, so down another 20 pounds in unsprung weight which I hear is a good thing. Current wheel setup will be available soon for cheap.

A little more gold wrap around sensor wires. Coming up on 155,000 miles and some of the wires are starting to feel and look a little brittle. Hopefully this will help.

Day one of projects. Installed upper control arm, did an oil change with a new magnetic drain plug, drained the rear diff (fluid arrives tomorrow) and swapped gaskets on diff drain plugs since these were pretty beat up

The Braum seats just didn't feel planted enough so I swapped for some carbon fiber NRG seats. They weigh 11 pounds less per seat than the Braum and are 22 pounds less than stock. Total weight savings over stock is 44 pounds.
Seats are bolted directly onto the Planted brackets and non reclinable. They are also 5-point harness ready for when the time comes. Also rerouted the fire extinguisher and fastened a bracket to the back of the arm rest with a quick release. Once new rims and tires are on another 22 pounds are shaved off. With the lighter seats, rear seat delete, new rims and tires, lighter exhaust and a few other weight saving pieces removed I should be close to 100 pounds of total weight off.

Purchased a Dodge Hornet. With the Blacktop and Track package, Cold Weather package and Tech package, this thing's a mini beast.
Keeping it simple but am planning: 1) Window Tint 2) Starlight headliner 3) All weather floor mats 4) Hornet logo courtesy lights 5) Legacy License Plates (black and yellow) 6) Little interior goodies

Busy weekend with the cars.
Finally got around to installing the BMR toe rods and front sway bar end links. Went ahead and preloaded the end links since it's usually just me in the car. And while the tires were off I went ahead and put the new, lighter wheels on. Will be selling my old setup once I clean the wheels and take some photos. Now for a much needed alignment...
