BMW E90 Schroth Quick Fit Install Video

Hey guys I finally got around to installing the BMW E90 harness and tried to make a decent video on the install for anyone looking at doing the same.

Has anyone explored using the top child seat tether instead of the lower ones?

My only concern with this harness install is the downward angle of the shoulder straps and the increased risk of spinal compression in the event there ever is an incident. Schroth has pretty good guidelines on their website for the maximum downward angle of the shoulder straps. Given how short the distance is from the front seat to the rear seat buckles, it looks like a pretty large downward angle.

Issue with these belts is usually submarining (when your body slides under the entire seatbelt)

Either way I would not recommend using these on track. If you crash at 100mph this thing is only going to hurt you IMO.
